While tending bar, Ciarán is approached by Sean, confused by Sean’s Irish, Ciarán realises he has fallen out of touch with his language. When he finds his father’s old Irish notes, he takes this a sign to teach himself again, with his Irish improved, he finds himself a new job and feels more in touch with his culture and family than before
